Facility History"Long before the Dreamworld Entertainment Facility was built, there was a young girl with a dream. Sara Covetman wanted to create something new and innovative in the field of family entertainment. She had been bullied a lot in school, so she wanted to make sure there were mascot characters that could make sure no kid was ever left out of the experience! In school, she met an equally creative boy named Lewis Bright. Lewis had a knack for visual design and crafting complex worlds that you could immerse yourself in. With Sara's unique ideas and Lewis' ability to bring them to life, all they needed was someone who could help with the technical side of things! Luckily, the duo met Oliver Acrimony in their computer class, and the trio of friends had been inseparable for many years after this first encounter.
Unfortunately, Lewis had gone missing about 2 months before the first Dreamworld Entertainment Facility could open, and Oliver went missing a few weeks after. Sara is now the sole owner in charge of the building, but she is sure to pay tribute to her friends that left the team." - excerpt from a recovered Dreamworld Entertainment advert |
The Dreamworld Entertainment Facility was built in an abandoned storage complex that was gifted to the three founders as the prize of a state-wide robotics competition, along with a large sum of money and equipment to get the facility ready within less than a year. The facility's doors were opened to the public during the early 2000s, but no exact dates for the building's opening and closing are currently known. It is speculated that the Dreamworld Entertainment Facility had been built somewhere in Ohio, due to recovered information discussing the founders' high school and the robotics contest, but there is no existing evidence that points to a more specific location. To promote the facility itself, various side projects were created with the colorful cast of mascot characters of Dreamworld Entertainment, such as animated shorts, physical merchandise, and short storybooks teaching children to play with their friends.
A recently discovered pamphlet seems to depict a map that may have been used to help guests navigate the facility. According to this map, the facility has 8 floors, but they do not go upwards as the map would lead you to believe. The lobby had been the first floor of the building, but it was also the only part of the structure that was built above ground. Everything else had been built underground, going down as the floor numbers were meant to rise, making Star Act the lowest level of the building. It has also been noted that many people seem to recall being able to enter Seaventure from many different locations throughout the facility, such as beneath Trampoland, so it is theorized that the waterpark may have expanded to be built around multiple levels after this map was made.

Conspiracy or Coverup?A content creator named Rainbott has recently been uploading a series of videos under the title "Welcome to Dreamworld" online. These videos are presented in the form of found footage with other recovered media spliced in-between. Despite being a defunct company, word has quickly spread that Dreamworld Entertainment does not approve of these videos tarnishing their reputation. After all, there have been a lot of disappearances reported by those who still remember the facility's existence, and it certainly doesn't paint a good look to see all of these colorful animatronics acting so violent on tape. The recordings are being sent to Rainbott by a former employee of Dreamworld Entertainment named Wiatt Nicholson, but not much is known about him beyond his appearances in this video series. Due to the video files becoming corrupted when they're uploaded by Rainbott online, each episode contains a few horror elements and loud glitches, so viewer discretion is advised!

Dreamworld Entertainment's official statement on the controversy:
"Due to the immense resurgence of Dreamworld Entertainment discussion online, there have been a lot of little rumors spread around by people trying to relive their childhoods through rose tinted glasses. These people are applying the current trends and fixations of mainstream media's analog horror phase onto a real recreational arcade. If something has become defunct, that does not mean that it's haunted. We are aware of how the modern age of the internet is afraid of animatronic characters, thanks in no small part to the rapidly growing indie horror community, but we can confirm with 100% certainty that our mascot characters were never violent towards maintenance staff or guests. The videos being released by Rainbott are works of derivative fiction and nothing more. If our company was ever to open a second facility, it would be just as safe and family-friendly as the original.
If you are a Dreamworld Entertainment staff member, please view the third employee training tape for more information about these rumors. We still have official guides available on how to dismiss them!"
